Set Down Rotating Tool

The Wellpro Group Set Down Rotating Tool is a product specifically designed and developed for use in coiled tubing and wireline operations to mechanically induce rotation of components in the work string.

The Set Down Rotating Tool is designed to provide up to (4) full 360 degree revolutions per cycle with rotation initiated when 50 pounds of weight is set down on the tool.

The unrestricted inner diameter permits the passage of drop balls through the Jar to release/activate tools utilised below.

The Set Down Rotating Tool will rotate downhole when a weight of 50 lbs or greater is applied. The tool is reset by lifting it up 12” – it is reset by the internal spring. The tool is ready for rotation once again.
