Flow Release Pulling Tool GS

The Wellpro Group Flow Release Pulling Tool (GS) is a reliable and cost-effective means of retrieving tools with an internal ‘GS’ style fishing neck.

The tool can be utilised by setting down weight to engage fish allowing the weight applied to the tool to overcome the internal spring force.  To release the overshot from the fish simply apply down weight on the BHA while circulating at a pre-determined flow rate through the tool.

The tool can also be operated by circulating at a pre-determined flow rate through an adjustable orifice.  This creates an internal pressure that activates an unbalanced piston allowing the spear grapple to become de-supported prior to entering the fish.  This method also allows for jetting to clean fish area.
