External Dimple-On Connector

The Wellpro Group External Dimple-On Connector provides a reliable means of connecting the bottom hole assembly to the coiled tubing. The connector is constructed from a robust and cost-effective one-piece design. The coiled tubing is dimpled using the purpose designed dimpling tool that also incorporates a slide hammer mechanism for installation and removal. The connector is then installed and held in place with locking grub screws inserted and tightened through the connector body into recessed profiles.

The design also features dual O-ring seals to provide a reliable seal against the OD of the coiled tubing. This design allows for superior mechanical strength also enabling torque-through capability. The External Dimple-On Connector can be manufactured and designed to suit customer OD’s and thread requirements.
